TowerScan Privacy Policy

TowerScan ("we", "us") operates the TowerScan inspection service, including the mobile apps and the website at towerscan.bobbycodes.dev. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and role (crew, manager, or owner). Email is used for login codes and account notices.
• Inspection content: defect reports you create, including photos, descriptions, categories, severities, and optional GPS coordinates attached to defect photos.
• Usage data: standard server logs (request times, IP addresses) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not share your data with third parties except the processors required to run the service (Stripe for payments; email provider for login codes).
• We do not run ads or trackers.

Who can see inspection photos

Defect photos are served only to authenticated members of the same team: the crew member who took them, their manager, and the platform owner. Photo URLs require a valid session; anonymous access is rejected.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Data retention and deletion

You can request account and data deletion at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your profile, crew associations, and inspection content. We may retain minimal financial records as required by law.

Security

Sessions use expiring, hashed tokens; all traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS); uploaded photos are validated and size-limited; the service runs in a hardened, non-root container.

Children

TowerScan is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will notify account holders by email. The current version is always at this URL.
